Graffiti artist Graham Dews, also known by the moniker Paris, opens his Pop-Stop shop in Bristol this Thursday, October 8.The first of his series of pop-up art spaces to appear across the city in the coming months, the temporary store will be chock full of handmade stickers, handmade books, mini prints, tees, graff mags, ‘zines, and trinkets from the renowned art, graphics and design guru. Recalling New York’s iconic Fun Gallery, Fashion Moda, and of course Keith Haring’s Pop Shop, Paris' own incarnation will fuse the spirit of these pioneering stateside institutions with the quintessentially British tradition of the humble jumble sale. Paris' trademark hand-crafted letter forms, stylised logos and fonts, and dynamic patterns will also sit alongside a small retrospective of the Hull-born artist's paintings.
