![]() One of London’s most anticipated group shows, Cityscape brings together some of the biggest U.S street artists who’ll be paying homage to urban culture at east London’s Dray Walk Gallery this month. Adding to an already incredible line-up which includes original artwork and prints by street art heavyweights Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Neck Face, Blek le Rat, and Dalek, Cityscape sees a rare UK exhibit by the legendary photographer, Ricky Powell whose landmark portraits of Run DMC, Beastie Boys, KRS One, Easy E, Eric B and Rakim will be on show in the gallery. Ahead of their major solo show at New York’s Brooklynite Gallery, the Brooklyn art duo Peru Ana Ana Peru will be making their first ever appearance in the UK. They’ve been flown in to create a site-specific installation of their work, highlighting their talent for video, sculpture, and fine art. Cityscape is presented by the Dalston based, Lava Collective, which launched this summer to showcase artists from around the world who haven’t yet penetrated the UK market. They also have major guest artists making regular appearances, ensuring each of their shows is a hit. Don’t miss this. The show is now open to the public and runs until November 15 at Dray Walk Gallery: Old Truman Brewery (off 91 Brick Lane), London, E1 6QL www.lavacollective.com |
