![]() British spray can artist, Xenz is back with a typically beautiful new body of work depicting vibrant landscapes and the colourful natural world. Adding to an already stunning portfolio, this is a collection of original works on canvas, paper, and discarded objects found on the streets of London. Of the forthcoming collection, Xenz says: “I began a body of work inspired by birds that catch flies: Flycatchers, Bee-eaters and the like. I have painted butterflies on my graffiti for over a decade, so much so that they have become somewhat of an icon of my style. I love the way their wings add colour to the grey environment in which I paint. But I also want to move away from this concept, so I have introduced some Flycatchers to cull some of these ethereal insects.” The artist also revealed a benevolent factor to his work: “If I can create awareness of the natural world through this urban art form known as graffiti then I'm happy. I donate a percentage of money made from my bird paintings to the RSPB. It’s not all about darkness and anger; sometimes it’s nice to be nice, and besides, graffiti originates from caves as well as subways." The new works are available now.
